The ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church of Charleston in the heart of the city, followed by a reception at the Citadel Beach House on Isle of Palms. Additional details and timing will be shared closer to the wedding date.

We recommend staying either in downtown Charleston for convenience to the ceremony or on Isle of Palms/Mount Pleasant for easy access to the reception. Wild Dunes Resort is a great beachfront option, and we’ve also listed several hotel recommendations on our site.

Downtown Charleston and Isle of Palms are approximately 20-30 minutes apart, depending on traffic.

At this time, transportation details have not been finalized. We recommend planning ahead for rideshare services or driving between venues if needed.

The ceremony will take place inside the church, and while the reception dinner will be indoors, the cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the lawn by the beach. We recommend dressing accordingly for both indoor and outdoor settings.

Yes, both venues will have parking available. The reception will have plenty of on-site parking, and the ceremony will also have parking options; however, since it is located in the heart of downtown Charleston, rideshare may be preferable for added convenience.
